    not much other than give yourself an ear ache from sound being amplified

    If you mean the first thing that would happen, you would hear sounds louder than before. Hearing loss or dependence is not that immediate!

    well, i wore hearing-aids for 15 years…..* i choose not to wear them now* but i use to let people ( my brother and sister) play with them and wear them around, and it will not affect your hearing but you will notice whne you take them out that for the first couple minutes you hear differently untill your ears adjust to your regular hearing…….the answer….Nothing will happen!!!! have fun
