Solid Book,
Having been in the business for 15 years as dispenser/owner, I would without a doubt, recommend this to anyone in our field that is responsible for the vision and growth of a hearing healthcare business. Covers the basics very well, and presents the overall picture of what direction to go-in order to set yourself up for success, in a clear, and insightful manner. My personal emphasis would have focused a bit more on encouraging us all to do business “the right way”…which was a point in the book, but in my opinion is THE MOST IMPORTANT ingredient in ANY hearing aid business today…one that MUST be in the forefront of every thought, and every action we make, everyday, of every year. The reality is, that we have a VERY poor image in WAY too many peoples’ mind, and there are WAY to many dispensers/audiologists that are in this for one thing, and one thing only…the almighty dollar…which drives me ABSOLUTELY MAD!! We have one of the few occupations that allow us to actually improve our clients quality of life, and the lives of EVERYONE around them, and it is something I take VERY seriously, and with the utmost responsibility…and I wish more of us would take that approach. Having said all that, I thought they did an outstanding job with the book, and again, I would recommend to ALL of my colleagues. Thanks.
