   My first experiment with amplified hearing assistance and it is very good. The amplification is smooth and will pick up two versions of sound, some with ambient sounds such as fans and AC and some without as much. If you want a thousand dollar unit then go all the way and get a doctor’s referral. If you just need some help at times and want to help keep your spouse’s annoyance level down then this is a good unit for you. It is really comfortable, after a short time I didn’t realize I had it in for the exception of the obvious sound improvement.

   The on/off switch is the battery compartment which is not easy to use. The battery compartment is more or less pulled out to shut the unit off and then pressed back into place to turn it back on. The directions how to use this are not clear, you have to look at what you are doing so pay attention! Get used to the smallness of the ear piece and try to change settings to make your hearing experience the best for you. I like the item a lot. For the money, you can’t do better…

   been through tons my hearing is pretty bad. this puts out great sound that will help anybody. no noise like fans that i got from everything else. close conversation is good where most stink. my only gripe is the sound wire could be longer it just fit over my ear very close to not at all. in all for the money it is well worth it.
