The assessment for the best aid for her MUST be done by a qualified audiologist. If price is no problem then you will be able to get the top of the range model in the type advised by the professional.

My partner had a cheapo, then upgraded and has never regretted the decision. He was fortunate that he could afford it.

The biggest hurdle for the elderly is getting used to the aid and the frequent , but ESSENTIAL trips to have it adjusted properly.

go talk to a professional audiologist and hearing aid practitioner. the new hearing aids are amazing – you can get them so the sounds from the t.v. and telephone, cell phone, etc. goes directly into the hearing aid making the quality of sound so much better.
my man’s hearing aids are siemens. they are a good hearing aid. but again get your mum into a professional and talk to them. once you’ve the correct aids for your mum her quality of life will improve drastically. good luck with it!

I would look in to Lee Major’s Bionic Ear. It is rechargeable. No batteries to mess with.
