big button telephone,
The phone arrived within a week and it works just fine. Some feedback on other comments written would be while the phone does take 2 batteries, the phone works without them. It’s just to save any stored phone numbers in case something happens that causes your phone line to have no power. If you don’t store any numbers, then you don’t need batteris. I also thought using the speaker phone option that even with the volume all the way up, it still didn’t seem loud enough. If you purchase the phone that you think is in Ivory, it will be white when it arrives. I think that’s the only color they have. Unlike other big button phones I’ve seen in the store, this Northwestern Bell felt like a “real” telephone. The other brands (including big name companys) seem very light weight and have a cheap feel to them. Also the Bell handset fits in the cradle firmly, other phones I’ve seem the ear piece sat in the cradle well but the mouth piece end just laid on top of the phone and you could easily knock the handset off the cradle without knowing it and loose connection.

Northwestern Bell Big Button Phone,
I am basically happy with this phone. It works very well, the ring tone is good and I enjoy the memory feature which does save a lot of time. The numbers and letters really are big and I can use this phone without using my glasses. However, it accidentally fell on the floor and the buttons popped out. I don’t think this was supposed to happen. Also, it is not a very sturdy phone. It is too lightweight and flimsy. All in all, though, I would buy this phone again. It is well worth the price I paid for it and it does a good job!

Good Big-Button Phone,
So far (about a year) this is the best big-button phone my elderly parent has had.
