I’ve been using a neckloop for several years after becoming profoundly deaf and finding that I could not listen to television acoustically. When my neckloop became intermittent, I tried two versions of this NoiZfree twin headset. Both provide closer electromagnetic linkage to the T-coils in my hearing aids that the neckloop but the tiny conductors in the cord sets are fragile. This version, with the right-angle connector plug and adaptor for the smaller jack seems to be more durable. The other headset, which has a straight plug has already become intermittent with broken wires directly at the connector. If I hold the cord set in just the right orientation, it works, but a slight shift disables the connection.

Because the coupling to the T-coils is so much greater, slight shifts in the position of the earhooks can cause significant changes in the perceived amplitude of the sound I hear, so I have some difficulty using this unit “on the move,” that is while walking or working outdoors or exercizing. The clip on the cord helps secure it and reduce some movement but not all. Still, I’m quite satisfied.
