This instrument works! I have reccomended it to a friend. Logic and the instructions say when the light on the charger changes from red to green the unit is charged. NO IT IS NOT. Leave it in the charger for at least 10 hours, even with the green light on. Only then is it fully charged and ready to wear all day and all evening. Well worth the money.

I have severe hearing loss in both ears, but the left ear is correctable with a hearing aid. My hearing aid that I got at an audiologists office cost over $2,000 and unfortunately, I lost it on a camping trip. I am on Social Security, so replacement of the lost hearing aid was not an option that I could afford. This ear amplifier works better than my old hearing aid did, and it was a fraction of the cost. It is comfortable to wear, and I have not had any problems with it staying on my ear when doing normal, everyday movements. I simply love this purchase, and it has given me back the sounds that I thought were gone forever.

Having been a hearing aid wearer for the last eleven years I know what good hearing aids can do for you. My originals (Wedix Diva’s) after 10 years were dying on me. So for standbys I purchased 2 of the Medca’s. As I suspected, these are exactly as the manufacturer suggest…”Hearing Amplifiers”. They amplify everything to the point of nuisance and unable to separate voice over background. I would not recommend these as your first line normal or replacement hearing aids, but they are helpful in a pinch as standbys. One Amazon Feedback customer complained about a 10 hour recharge…I wish I was so lucky. Following the instruction to the “T”, it only took 19 hours for the first battery, and I’m still waiting on the second. Now after a couple of weeks of use, I still get every sound amplified to noise, but it takes far less time to re-charge the batteries.
