For $14.95 I thought I’d take a chance on this – at the time I ordered it there were no reviews on Amazon. I agree with the other two reviews. It won’t stay in my ear but even when I hold it in, it doesn’t help at all – the only thing it really seems to amplify is my own voice. If you need something for TV or the theatre, try TV ears – which works great though it needs to be hooked up to your tv or compatible with the theater’s sound system – it works very well in most Broadway theaters by clarifying as well as amplifying speech.

DO NOT BUY THIS GARBAGE, January 26, 2009

This thing is a piece of trash. It does not work like the commercial claims. You can barely hear with it. It is made out of very cheap and easily breakable plastic. Don’t buy this product!

This review is from: Loud N Clear (Electronics)

I would’ve rated this device a zero if I could have; an elderly friend has one and it never worked well, never fit well. Don’t bother.
