No Its Not Because If U Have Exellent Hearing You Should Be Able To.

I’m sure that there is nothing to worry about if she passes all of her hearing tests. I have some friends who cannot hear that as well and they are perfectly healthy.

I am 53 and can hear the ringtone and do not have all that great of hearing so I have a feeling that it is more than just your age and hearing but possibly some type of sensitivity as well.

So the basis for that ringtone is that it is at the very upper frequency range that humans can hear (dogs would have no trouble hearing it at all), and as we age, high frequency sounds are the first things we loose hearing acuity for, so it is easier for younger children and teenagers to hear it than for adults to do so.
That having been said, it’s all really statistics, most adults cannot hear it and most younger kids can (and many teenagers). If your friend’s daughter has perfectly good hearing and no problems with it, but just can’t hear that ringtone, she is most likely normal (though I really can’t say anything for certain without more information). I doubt it’s anything to worry about.
