I have tinnitus but can hear 8kHZ does that mean I have good hearing?

Question by Rainbooooww: I have tinnitus but can hear 8kHZ does that mean I have good hearing?
I took an online test and I put my speaker at volume 6/100 and I still could hear it. I’m going to take a real audiogram next week. So should I be worried?
I’m 20 years old.

8K is very good for an adult, mediocre for teens.

I think tinitus has little to do with hearing, its more of an infection that causes pain.

    NO its means your ringing in your ears r driving you nuts lol best plan of action sleep with the tv on or radio during the day stay around noise
