This review is from: Epson America Inc 3000 Lumens (Personal Computers)

We did a lot of research when it came to replacing the eight year old LCD projectors at our church. The colors on that one were always wrong and washed out, no doubt because it was only 1600 lumens. So one of our priorities was much higher lumens and the other was accurate color definition. This Epson does both extremely well. Whatever color shows up on our LCD computer monitor is the same color that shows up on the screen, and the brightness of this projector is amazing. Epson makes a point to say that they use a different scale for measuring brightness that compares to other projector brands with higher advertised lumens and I would be inclined to believe them. This projector was the best compromise of low price and high brightness and features we could find, though after we started using them we see no compromise at all. The best feature that was never mentioned in the advertising and only found out after installation was that the image fills the screen even after correcting for keystoning. Our other projector corrected the keystone effect but it overshot the screen and we were always missing part of the image. I just cannot find anything negative to say about this projector, and am a huge fan of Epson projectors now.
